IBEW Local 613 Business Manager Kenny Mullins and President Kevin Swanson were both re-elected to another term during the 2020 Officer Elections, held Sept. 25.

Letter to contractors

IBEW Local 613 and our signatory contractors have worked together to best deal with the coronavirus from the beginning. In this letter, Safety Director Mike Bell urges signatory contractors to work with general contractors to keep job sites sanitary and encourage tradesmen and tradeswomen to stay home if they are not feeling well or experience COVID-19 symptoms.

IBEW Local 613 Launches New Website

Today IBEW Local 613 launched its new website, which is designed to improve member communication.

This new, robust website is optimized for mobile and tablet usage and provides members with easy access to the contact information for officers, staff and union leaders. Additionally, the site features a signatory contractors database, information pertaining to apprenticeship, organizing, construction issues and more.

IBEW Local 613 Celebrates 100-Year Milestone

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 613 celebrated 100-years of unionism on Oct. 12, 2019, as over 1,700 members of Local 613 and their guests gathered together at the Georgia World Congress Center to celebrate the milestone occasion.
